Extension of Date for Applying Photo Identity Card Free of Cost

The Council at its 652nd meeting held at Hyderabad during March 21-22, 2009, decided to introduce Photo Identity Card as compulsory to all Corporate Members with effect from July 1, 2009. It has now been decided that the Photo Identity Card in the revised format to be issued to existing Corporate Members (F/M/AM) will bear their signatures.

Therefore, the existing Corporate Members who are already holding or not holding the Photo Identity Card of the Institution are requested to apply in the prescribed downloadable proforma available at our website www.ieindia.org for Photo Identity Card bearing theirsignatures. The Photo Identity Card will be issued free of cost if the application is receivedwithin 30 June 2011. The photograph and the specimen signature must be verified by a supporter (other than the applicant) who is an existing Corporate Member of the Institution.


 Membership number with 7 digits

Photo Identity Cards are being issued to the members with Membership number with 7 digits including the check digit as 7th digit.For example : Membership number F-1234567 where 7 is the check digit.Members are requested to quote their 7 digit membership number (including check digit) for all future correspondence.
