Techanician / Senior Techanician members , who were registered to appear in Revised Scheme in Section A Examination in Summer 2005 and their six –year period to pass the examination is expired with winter 2010 examination , are eligible for examination re-registration on the prescribed proforma with a fee of Rs. 1,500/- by demand draft in favour of “ The Institution of Engineers India “ , paylable at Kolkata to appear afresh in section A , foreiting their subject exemption if any , obtaining up to snd including winter 2010 Examination .Similarly , candidates , registered to appear in Revised Scheme in section B examination in summer 2004 and their six-year period to pass the examination is expired with winter 2010 examination , are eligible for examination re-registration and registration for section B on the prescribed proforma with a fee of Rs.1,500/- and Rs.3,000/- , resoectively by separate demand draft in favour of “ Institution of Engineers ( India ) Paylable at Kolkata to appear fresh in section B examination , forfeiting their subject exemption, if any , upto and including Winter 2010 Examination .
Ther is no provision for further extension to pass the examination . Last date for receiving re-registration forms and /or registration for section B at the headquarter of the institution is 15 April 2011. Application received after the stipulated date will not be considered for summer 2011 examination.
