Exemption in Common Subjects of Section B to Candidate Appearing in Addition Branch

The Institution of Engineers( India) offers facility to appear in additional branch of engineering with exemption in common subjects recently at council meeting of Institution of Engineers(India) , IE(I) approved the revision of clause-:

Candidate who wish to appear in additional branch of engineering will be exempted, on request , from appearing in those subjects of same nomenclature in which they have secured minimum 'C 'Grade in the Institution Examination in earlier branch. However, this facility will not be applicable to candidates having passed section B examination in old scheme.

Candidates, who wish to appear in additional branch of engineering will be exempted , on request , from appearing in those subjects of same nomenclature and subjects in which they have secured minimum Grade ' C' or 50 marks and above in the institution examination in earlier branch, However , this facility will not be applicable to candidates having passed section B examination in Old Scheme and syllabus.
