The Centre for Distance Engineering Education Programme (CDEEP) was started by the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Bombay with the express aim of providing high quality distance education in engineering and science to large number of participant throughout the country and abroad.CDEEP would like to share the expertise of IIT Bombay faculty with students and working professionals everywhere. The course offered through distance education are the very same once that are taken by IIT Bombay students. TO reach as many learners as possible, CDEEP is using different mediums and various technologies.

2. Providing cost effective and scalable solution for participant and participating centres in all programmes while using technology in such a way that content delivery content matches learning needs.
CDEEP Welcomes all Engineering and science Learners
Through CDEEP, IIT Bombay is web casting engineering and science courses in different disciplines , at both the undergraduates and postgraduates levels. A course is the semester-long teaching of a subject, with about 40 hours of lectures.
The only requirement for receiving these courses is to have a personal computer with Internet connection with 100 kbps bandwidth.
Web cast courses can be accessed on our site from anywhere across the globe. More ever, you can view these live courses absolutely free of cost at the schedule time.
CDEEP also offers a value-added mode, solo classroom, that offer additional features like video on demand and a learning management system.
